I haven't found this anywhere else, so I'm pretty skeptical, but still hoping. My old droid really needs replaced.

Can't. Verizon won't activate it unless it's a Verizon branded phone.

A little off-topic, but on the forums on xda-developers. One of the developers unpacked a leaked rom of 2.3.4. There were filenames like att_lte and logos of ATT LTE. This means ATT will launch it with LTE and will be their flagship device when they launch the LTE service in 5 or so cities this year.

Might be that VZW gets a LTE version too.

Just speculation. I know lots of you wanted it to have LTE.

Anyway I think that date is too soon. I say end of August or September.

Technically, already works on AT&T. Import the international version, pop in an AT&T SIM card.

Still need to see the front, but it doesn't look like a major redesign. Personally, I hope it does away with the giant center button and goes with Android's standard 4, but thats personally. They did this with all the US SGS1 devices.

The Droid Bionic should be the first dual core LTE phone.
That is a fact and therefore invalidates the entire article.

Yup, mine is relatively bloat-free, definitely AT&T bloat-free, unlocked, and with FM radio, just to name a few things I love about my SGS2.

But its just BS. Listening to a Sprint rep on pricing is as unreliable as it gets. That and no one would pay $350 for a phone in the US. It also seems like an old rumor.
