Given their recent SGS2 ads jabbing apple and their userbase, it wouldn't surprise me at all to know they're doing this all just to tease apple. It seems pretty blatant to use the exact same actor.

Work contracts do exist that can tie people down.

Yes they are called non compete agreements usually. And I believe anyone who signs them is a moron. I have turned down a job because of one before. I can agree with non disclosure, I can not agree with non compete. What happens if the company then gets rid of you? Oh wait you just signed yourself out of the market.

In the EU, I think they are actually against the law as if you are got rid of technically you are unavailable to work, when you are, which is against EU law and you'd lose all your benefits, so... really they don't stand up unless they're still paying you.

Pretty obvious the largest issue is the fact that Samsung looks to follow in Apples lead for everything cause they can't be unique themselves. They don't know how to reach target consumers, they don't know how to create their own image. You see anything from companies like Samsung, you think of Apple. pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Samsung is on that trollaid now. I don't mind the commercial I mean it takes its queues from the Apple commercials where there user experience is championed over everything but it's not something that should bother/hurt anyone. I think it's way better then the average retarded Android commercials we see.

Also the Samsung Galaxy S2 commercial was hilarious, even I think those people standing on lines look stupid. I ordered my phone online and had it on the day it became available at the store.

The original post implies that Samsung was copying Apple in their advertisements. However, other than using the same child actor, the commercials are completely different.
