This is from Memplus.com. Never ordered from them before.

Not sure if this is true samsung, or samsung chips on generic stick. Anyone know? If it is true Samsung, looks like a good deal.

I have ordered from them twice. Seemed ok to me. Shipping is not the fastest and not the cheapest either. The PC2700 RAM was in a anti-static bag that was sealed,
and I checked the number on the RAM against other vendors and the Samsung site, and saw that it was indeed PC2700 RAM they gave, as it is not printed anywhere on the stick. Good price I guess, considering I just bought RAM from them last month for $78 for each stick.

Wow ! that is a great price, I have been looking around the NY area and the cheapest I found was at the local CompUSA for 129.00. Thanks for the find, I am going to check them out now.

512 PC2700 is $91. If you want ECC, it goes up to $109, and ECC/Registered is $126. It certainly *looks* like a heck of a deal, but everybody around here keeps pointing at NewEgg for TRUE Samsung at $149.

Their front page has a link directly to all the 256 Samsung memory, and part of the link sez "Lifetime warranty", so I assume it's True. All links directly from the top-level non-ECC specifically say "True", while the ECC top-level page sez nothing about "True".

So anyway...I'm thinking about upgrading my mobo and CPU and OC the thing. I'd like high quality RAM. First...is it TRULY "true" Samsung? Is it ALL "true" Samsung? If so, would I be better off going with ECC/Registered, ECC or the bargain route?

I dont think this is 100% sammy stuff just the ships... We have talked about them before, but those prices are great!

s is the non promo price you can only get 4 at the "promo price" which is 3 bucks less.

Roy as I said this is not the 100% sammy stuff. This would be like the same stick you buy at googlegear. But again its a nice price. They did both go up 1 buck...

SVCompucycle has TRUE Samsung 512MB PC-2700 for only 111.99. They also have an excellent Reseller Ratings so there shouldnt be any worries about ordering here.

I just got a stick of the 111.99 svc samsung ram and it is not a samsung pcb. I called them first and he said the key words are "samsung original", and are always at least 20.00 more or so. I knowingly ordered it friday night and got it today (CA to FL in less than 3 days!, over a weekend!).
