Wow... WTF happened to the prices of RAM? Glad I got a bunch of this RAM when it was near $15 a stick.

I just really, really wish Samsung had had this in 8GB sticks back then, because I would have bought even more of it up at the time, I've got an ESXi Server I'd love to upgrade to 32GB.

Personally, I would wait for the price to come back down unless you really need memory ASAP.

Samsung adjusted its memory production from traditional memory to memory that goes in portable devices. Prices will probably continue to go up as long as traditional PC's continue to see their market diminish.

To be fair tho....Samsung super ram in the link is getting harder and harder to find.

Price is no more than juiced DDR3 running at 1866mhz.

I bought a pair of these back in Nov when they were $35 shipped which does 1866mhz at stock voltage.

Yeah, I finally caved the other day and bought a bunch of Team Xtreem 8GB 1600 CL9 1.5V kits from newEgg for ~$37 each.
Not bad, but not nuclear either.

man i just order 2 corsair 4gb value select off newegg for 26 each and a 2x8gb value select.. i used these before and had no problems.. afraid the price will go higher..
