Woohoo. Just got home a lil while ago with two edges, gold and black. I *dig the gold, though its more like polished nickel. Just sent off for the promotions and vr/netflix.

Coupla things irking me. The edge on crap is convoluted. And it feels like it needs to be in a case. My fat fingers keep gripping the screen. And embedded album art won't load in power amp. Otherwise digging it. I missed amoled. The lgv10 needed that.

Yes a case makes a big difference. Without it you need to be careful with the holding fingers but it's effortless now with the case. Sucks to cover such a beautiful phone but a case is mandatory for my usage anyway.

I got the neo something from sigen, it's perfect. I have had my gold s7 for about 3 days and love it. Registered for the watch, says 4 to 6 weeks till I get it.

I'd really like the silver, but I can live without it. I'm not a fan of the Edge, so I can definitely live without that. I couldn't get the Edge crap to work at all on the demo unit as BestBuy.

I will probably pick up a S7 in Black somewhere down the road since my current pre-order doesn't qual for the promotion.

On the edge can you disable the edge feature so that 'fat fingers' don't trigger all sort of crap ?

S6 Edge is available in white. S7 and S7 Edge are not.

I've used the S6 Edge extensively, and the short answer is: fine. You might see a bit of glare at the curves, but the colors and such are normal.

I really don't watch videos on my phone anyway.

Get a kick out of the reviewers bitching about the carrier specific apps and duplicate SS apps, and pointing to Apple as winning that war, like the reviewers don't have a handful of apps on their last page of their iPhone they can't remove... And don't get me started on the quality of Apple's first party apps, they've really aged poorly.

The tmobile s7 has hardly any bloat. And the few it has are ones I use anyway. BTW, you can move apps to the SD card.

Got the silver S7 Edge, wireless charging pad, and 64gb card yesterday. Still playing around with it, but like it very much so far. Coming from a Note 3, pretty big upgrade. No case for me, I like it as is.

I'm digging mine. Threw on mx player pro beta 1.84 with dts. It was able to play back 10 bit hevc x265 video in sw, w/o garbled screen. My tab s2 sometimes freaks out and insta reboots. 8bit hevc is no issue in hw+.

OK, anyone notice that "Fast charging" aint so fast on the S7 edge? On my LGV10 and Note 4, fast charging is pretty damn quick. Right now im fast charging and its at 92% saying it will be 20 minutes until finished.
