Whoa, that's pretty sad state of affairs for Qualcomm if it's apples to apples. Does the international version lack US LTE bands?

No. It has a bunch of LTE bands and people have confirmed it works with AT&T (and probably T-Mobile too) no problem.

Also, from what I've heard...

USA Model use Qualcomm 820

International use Samsung's CPU.

Samsung CPU is supposedly a bit more faster, but Qualcomm has better battery saving performance. I don't think the differences in speed will matter much, rather have the battery saving performance even with the bigger battery.

Nope. Qualcomm does slightly better on single core, but gets crushed on multicore and battery life. And DAC, if you care.

Agree. The 820 dac is horrible. Just coming off the LGV10 I may be spoiled as that phone has a phenomenal DAC. The S7 820 is garbage in comparison.

Yea, the DAC is a kicker however when measured the US' output is as clean as teh UK, but it starts to distort at 9/10th volume around 1% thd. In context the iphone at max is around 6-8% thd. Still better than everything else except its cousin. But I noticed hitting that volume wall the sound goes to shit.

I hate to tell you that the T-Mo BOGO expired... but it did.

It's their main plan now, everyone is on it. And it's the plan that is killing ATT and Verizon. We had ATT first, till they got too sleazy and pulled my grandfathered plan out from under my nose. Went to Verizon, and they wanted $80 more than ATT roflmao. Then T-mobile, whoa the honesty killed me. Haven't left tmo since.

UMTS B4 (1700/2100 AWS 1) is missing for T-mobile, but not sure how important that is, since that band is supported for LTE.
In any case, Samsung threw Qcom and bone on this one, even though they didn't deserve it. I guess the upside for Samsung is they got the foundry business, so now is they get paid every time their Android competitors sell a phone too.

I thought about it but I don't really need a 4th line. I barely tether at all. If I want to use a tablet on the road I just pop in my sim . plus it's 7gb per line tethered and unlimited HS per phone.

Put an armorshield protector on last night. For a regular 7 would have been under 5 minutes from opening till done, took me about 25 for the edge. Most of the time working it along the edges to make sure it sea led well. Had someone look at if after I was done and under regular indoor lighting they couldn't tell it had one on.
