Samsung SM 959Nf - 19" CRT - is it good?

I currently have 17" CTX pr705f which has max res. good for the eyes of 1152x864 (85hz).

I want to get this 19" CRT, 959NF by samsung which says it can do 1600x1200 at 87hz - is this true, and do you recommend this monitor?

I've never used the monitor, or even know its specs.

Samsung makes pretty good products. If it runs 87hz @ 1600x1200, thats pretty good.

I am typing this on my Samsung 959NF at work. I absolutely love it.
Perfectly flat screen. I am using 1280*1024@85Hz. If I was in the market to buy a new 19", I would get this one.

Hamilton, can the monitor handle 1280x1024 @ 100hz as the specs say? Why do you work it on 85hz?? The specs say 1600x1200 at 87hz and 1280x1024 at 100hz

Well I have a Dell computer at work and it got a Intel Extreme gfx card. I cant use 100Hz, 85Hz is max.

Yes it`s a very good monitor .I too like Samsung monitors since I`ve always had good luck with their products.
