I've been to the 9th and it was good fun. It has beer, beer, and more beer (sorry, no Big Three - Miller, Coor, Bud - there); and food is actually not bad too and some are for free. For 35 bucks you get gourmet beer and full stomach. Not a bad deal at all.

It's the 16th, actually. I've been to the 9th, 10th, and 11th. I'll definitely be there this year. I'm looking forward to the Ruination nuts and the beer brats. Mmm.

anyway, have you tried the 12th Anni release (bitter Chocolate Stout or something, I just bought it but haven't tried). The 08 Vertical Epic will be released in 2 days too!

Yes, the 12th is pretty damn good. It's a creative solution to the hop shortage, bittering the beer with chocolate. The end result is very tasty. I'm looking forward to the 8.8.8, probably going to get enough to cellar for a while. I just had my last bottle of the 6.6.6 a couple of weeks ago, and it was amazing.

Great to know that, hopefully I won't be dissappointed

well, I am not a big fan to Belgian ales to be honest, and was quite dissappointed that since the 050505 they were all belgain styled. I look forward to the 080808 because in the tasting note it got major hops; and hopefully I will finally be happy with a Vertical Epic. (I had one since the 444, and was dissapointed since the 05)

this event completely snuck up on me. i had forgotten all about it until i went to stone friday night and saw a sign for it. im heavily considering going, anyone else here planning to go? should be a good time and some good vendors are going to be there serving up some quality beer. tickets usually go pretty quick though so i wouldnt bank on trying to get in at the door.
