That is a very nice price; the before rebate price is nice too for those of us who abstain from using rebates whereever possible.

That being said, keep in mind that this isn't a 45x or Ultra or whatever memory card. The transfer rates are going to be very slow. Like "Won't max out a USB 1.1 reader" slow.

hey, i'm about to buy a canon a80 from dell and have been planning on getting a cf ultra card with it ... but it's $65 for 256mb vs. this deal - ouch! does anybody have any experience with this, ie, is there a noticable difference between the "regular" and "ultra" cards? and if so, is it only when downloading to your pc using a card reader, or is will the card run faster in the camera as well - ie, take pictures faster?

good question. bump because i would love to know too.

check out the replies to my post in OT here. seems like speed can make a difference. fyi, viking seems to get much better results in tests, it's only a few bucks more at amazon (also has a rebate), seems like the better way to go to me ...

my SLOW card just shipped. But i dont think my cam can go ultra speed. They need to have that as a spec on cameras and on memory, like CDRs.
