We have asked around and it turns out that USB 3.0 native support is there, but Intel didnt want to talk about it, as apparently the USB 3.0 spec is still not 100 percent closed and Intel is a bit careful. Basically the company didnt want to announce support before it was a 100 percent sure.

So it seems we should be getting both native SATA 6Gbit/s and USB 3.0 support with the new Sandy Bridge chipsets. That would help explain what the "secret hidden feature" is too:
