I love this sound card to death, no better one out there...but I recently discovered quite an annoying bug.
I have Logitech Z560 speakers 4.1's
When I enable the 10band EQ on the drivers in control panel for SC I notice most of the sound goes up front...I delt with that forever thinking it was normal.
But, when I play games like BF1942 and Max payne I really noticed it in. The EQ doesnt apply to the back channels AT ALL!
IT SUX cause in these 2 games when there is sound up in the front channels only, it gets EQed but if something plays on all 4 or in the back speakers the EQ cuts out and it goes flat sounding!!!
I am wondering if this is only a driver bug or if it is like this in the hardware???
I had this happen on both XP and 2k
I love EQ and feel I need more highs in these speakers, but I guess I can get used to no EQ =(
Thanks for the help....
