Those speakers arent that great... I got them on clearance from Wal-Mart for $50 then subsequently exchanged them for the Creative Inspires.

Don't know about them speakers... but the TBSC is supposed to have the cleanest output for music lovers... even compared to Audigy...

it was bundle with same speakers but not the same sound card and after going and listening to the speakers at compusa , dude do they suck...whow...not so good deal after all.

Heh, I have one but all I saw was front & rear outputs so I figured it wasn't It's ok cuz I only have 2.1 spkrs anyways.

but does santa cruza have true 5.1 dolby surround sound like the audigy. i heard the audigy was a true 6 channel sound card, and that the santa cruza isn't.

The dolby decoding would be done by your dvd software. It will send the signals to your 6 speakers. Also thru spdif if you have an external setup you wanna pipe into. Don't know what the audigy does. I have an acoustic edge myself.

that's what i've been hearing too. audigy's are great for gamers because of the environment emulations. but santa cruz is known for the awesome sound quality/output. ^_^x

My SB Live gamers crap on me, and since I heard alot about Santa Cruz I bought one, and guys, let me tell you, the sound is even better with this sound card, I can't no be happier.
