I ordered 4 120mm Sanyo Denki fans from that guy on Ebay for $4.99 each.
They came sealed in plastic with an rpm monitoring 3 pin hookup.
before,
With my xp-120 and a 69cfm 120mm fan, as well as the same fan on my side blowhole:
cpu: idle 31 / load 44
gpu: idle 50 / load 67
After,
add in the 105cfm 39db Sanyo Denkis in place of both fans:
cpu: idle 31 / load 41
gpu: idle 47/ load 64
Just a note:
my side blowhole is positioned straddling my 6800gt, so it gets a healthy dose of cool air
I know Panaflo is a great fan as well as some others, but these fans have quite alot of pressure to them, and all I seem to hear is air, no whining.
I have 2 80mm intakes upfront, as well as the 120mm side intake. When I turned the Blowhole Denki (lol) on full, air was blowing out the front of my case thru the small spaces around my cd/dvd drives, and turning my 2 80mm intakes up to full was all I could do just to stop the air from pushing past the them.
