This is one of the best models of 5770 based on noise, heat, and overclockability. It's also a good price at $150. You'll get about 50% more performance than your 8800gt. I had an 8800gt before going to a 5850 and personally decided 50% wasn't a big enough jump to warrant an upgrade but the next step up costs a lot more so it's up to you.

I'm on the fence about this one.. I'm running 4870's in CF now and really don't see a performance increase.. unless I want DX11 and eyefinity... of course if I decide they will be oos if I do purchase 2 next week they will be cheaper..

I looked at that. but from what I understand it's only 10% more performance then the 5770. And has the drawback of size and requires more power to run. So for the 50$ less, figured the 5770 would be best for my situation.

I have the 5770 Vapor-X ($160, ewiz deal) and am wishing I would've gotten an EVGA GTX 260.

I have two specfic drivers issues (that I didn't have with a 9800 GX2) that pretty much only affect me, but the 260 is a faster card anyway. Heat, noise, & power increase is very minimal. It's 10.5" long, but I mean if it fits: who cares?

How does this one compare to the Gigabyte 5770 (the one with the batmobile cooler and no xfire bridge)? That's $166 -10MIR -12%Bing = ~$136 at Tiger. I have the Arctic Cooler so I'd like to go fanless.
