Hi guys,
I've been looking for a 290 which cools well and is quiet at idle. The sapphire seems great but the some say it is a bit noisy at idle. The link below shows it running at 1300-1400rpm at idle which is pretty high. My computer is on my desk so I know I will hear it. I was wondering can you set it lower than that with saphire trixx or msi afterburner? If not, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to flash the windforce bios onto their card to see what fan rpm it goes to at idle and how it performs. Not much risk with the dual bios after all. If I don't decide on a card soon I think I'll have to wait for 20nm O_O
Thanks in advance,
Richard
