Yes all GTO2s are PCI-E. But not everybody knows this so it would be nice to see it in the title.

this is a good deal, BUT

the 7800gt has been $260.00 to $270.00 a bunch of times already, which is about $50.00 more than this, but it is about that much faster roughly 25% faster, so it is a good deal at this price point, but a 7800gt is just as good a deal if you have like $270.00 to spend.

the lowest i've seen a 7800gt was $275 AFTER REBATE. and if $200 is your limit, a gto2 or a 6800gs would be a good choice. is $75 worth an average of 10-20 frames (low res)? if yes then go get a gt.

For anyone already stretching to get to the $200 mark for a video card this is pretty nice.

If you factor in 2 games in bundle (COD2 & Far Cry) that come with my xfx 7800 gt probably worth at least $50 bucks plus I actually paid $269 (AR) for the card. So the bottom line is ~ $220 or so. Not only that you'll also get the latest technology (with some future proof ) in graphic techonolgy plus some other nice features eg. dual dvi, vivo etc. Two months ago, this SAPPHIRE would be real hot at $214 but not today. Keep in mind that this is an OEM product plus a bit of price gouging tagged on. IMO it should now be priced ~ $160-$180 max.
Not to mention that the XFX 7800 GT with o/c potential could even push it close to or equal a GTX performance.

Accoring to the various benchmarks, if GTO2 is not unlocked/OCed (@stock in other words), X1600 Pro and GTO2 has very similar performance. Once GTO2 is unlocked/OCed to X800XT speed, it's way better than X1600XT. Once GTO2 is OCed to X850XT PE speed, then X1600XT (even OCed) just can't be compared.

My GTO2 from about 2 months ago unlocked to 16 pipes, and is currently running stable at 520/560 24/7, not just for benchmarking. I can benchmark at 540/600 though .

This is essentially an X850XT PE, which outperforms a 6800 Ultra. It should be almost as powerful as a 7800GT I believe. I think that the X800GTO2 is $205 shipped at Allstarshop now though.
