ATI has slashed prices recently.. i'll avoid this for now as in a few weeks it'll be down to this price without the rebate hassles and waits..

More like not an avid gamer, because this is overkill if you don't need it.

Yeah...and make sure you buy a decent power supply for this card. I'd say a "quality" 350 watt or better power supply should suffice with ~>15A on the 12 volt rail (as recommended by Sapphire/Newegg for this card). And let's NOT turn this into a power supply thread peeps.

Well for $90 bulks I didn't want to let it pass. Regarding the PS I have a Seasonic S12 500w. I silencer would be nice because I heard these are loud!

Sorry, I wouldn't buy this card if all I had to pay for is the shipping. I bought one when they were selling for $500 new, and the best thing I did was sell it off as soon as I could. The 6600GT I had before it was MUCH faster, for less than half the price! Why do you think they are selling so cheap now?

Do you think I'd be better off buying this card and getting a new motherboard at a cost of $200 or just getting a 7800gs for $210 with my agp setup?
