Can anybody produce an interview with any medium Sarah has given (not Sean Hannity because he just licks her ass) where she projects knowledge on any domestic or foreign political issue outside pre-scripted talking points?

This is usually accomplished by those annoying followup questions. I'm not a big fan of Bill O'Reilly but here he corners her on solutions for illegal immigration. Once the script is over she starts rambling and that Katie Couric look comes out.

Also Obama endured attacks before he declared so she has to man up. She's already put her pretty little toes in the water and declared, if noone else steps up she would do it for all our sakes.

The demonization machine works. The way media has become sick from the new media disease of innuendo and lies as facts. Al gore was the not the first but they really perfected it on a grand scale. When John Mcain lost that primary to GWB because of the crazy rumors of him having illegitimate children with an African American and when Swift boating became a political sport things went to another level.

You can't fight social manipulation with silence. Silence provides no contradiction to the astroturfer's projected image that that is the bandwagon. With no contradiction people will jump on it in droves just to avoid the potential hassle of having to explain holding a position that's contrary to "prevailing" opinion. (Most people have no clue as to their true motivations for believing what they believe so they can't explain themselves worth shit.)

The best way to fight lies is to just take them out into the light and look at them. Now the uneducated and stupid aren't very good at this --everything's a religion with them so you really have to poke and prod to get them to wake up, then you have to teach them the basics of scientific investigation. But once that is done... problem solved.

Scared of Palin? No. The President is largely a figurehead, and social structures (like government) are quite adaptable. If absolute monarchies could make it though centuries of weak monarchs, the United States, with its Congress that controls the purse strings and gets to override vetoes, isn't going to collapse after four years with an idiot in the Oval Office.
Being a Lame Duck after first week would really have very few implications. Others would take over. They always do.

Palin does give a shout out in the ABH book to fellow Alaskan Jessica Gavora, former chief speechwriter and senior policy adviser for Attorney General John Ashcroft. She is married to Jonah Goldberg, an excellent conservative writer, so who knows?

As Bill Ayers wrote Obama's books I don't think it is out of line for Palin to get some help, especially as it is not quite at the full authorship level that Ayers provided.
