There are people that actually want Palin to run?! Seriously? That woman is dumber than a box of rocks. She makes Bush look like a Mensa candidate.

People are seriously blind to party lines.

How is hawkishness in any way a moderate trait? Neocon is about using American military and economic power to spread American viewpoints and values around the globe. Without making any value judgments, that's not what I'd call a moderate viewpoint.

Well hawkishness isn't either left or right. JFK got us into Vietnam. On other issues they are moderate. For example Dick Cheney and his support of gay marriage or George W Bush and illegal alien amnesty. Didn't some documents get leaked recently showing neocons ridiculing evangelists and recognizing them as tools to win elections?

Sarah Palin is a far right evangelical.

Where is Phyllis Shaftely in the conservative hall of hero's? At least she has not burned her bra yet. But if you want hot, try Mrs. Dennis Kucinisch.

Pictures of women are gay?

Actually, it's quite possible, in this context. The person who made the image, along with those who regularly post it are possibly overcompensating for a feeling of lost bravado. Perhaps they even have latent homosexual tendencies.

Much in the same way that under-washed, unkempt "macho" men get all "sports sports, hyuk hyuk, check that bitch, I'd tap that" around each other, all the while slipping in subtle slaps on the back or ass. I've known two of them who eventually turned out to be decent, gay men.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, quite the opposite! However, being an asshole is a side effect of being uncomfortable with oneself.

Perhaps I'm just trying to push conservative buttons, you could imply, but I'm really not. There is something emotionally wrong with conservatives, and in many cases (priests going all bad-touch on people), it stops them from being comfortable with who they are and they wind up hurting people and/or acting like complete fuck-tards in the process.

Yes, I'm comparing conservative tough-guys to rapist-priests.

If McCain had won the 2008 election, and died in office (he is not a young man, after all) the thought of PALIN having the nuclear launch codes gives me chills.

I thought McCain was a decent candidate too, and I voted for Obama. Pretty much the only thing that drove me to Obama was that Palin would become the most politically powerful person in America if McCain died. That simply must not happen.

Why do the looks of women involved in politics keep being brought up on thiis forum?

For the same reason some people spew invective at other posters in lieu of factual or reasoned rebuttals. It is easier to attack the superficial rather than ideas and opinions.

Interestingly enough, I don't doubt that you think that. Because the liberal side of that story is that to justify hating conservatives, you need to vilify them first. But it's still empty drivel, it's still a refusal to face facts, it's still weak. Why not simply admit the truth? Why not announce that you hate conservatives and you want them silenced? I'd have more respect for that than some foolish pysco-babble bullshit. You sound like moonie.

Once again, did you bother to read any of those links? What she was questioning was whether or not the Obama administration was pulling it's punches in the initial response to the spill due to the amount of money BP contributed to the Obama campaign (and personally I have no clue whether she was citing fact or fiction in regards to those contributions). As I said in my response to you it was not blaming the oil spill on Obama but questioning the initial lackadaisical response to the spill by the administration. If it is true that the Obama campaign and Democrats have been benefiting from support from BP then it is a legitimate question as to what they are getting for that support and that you can guarantee if this were Bush we would be learning about these contributions in great detail on the front pages of MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.

Obama biggest recipient of BP cash

Probably because they need something to stare at...after all, conservatives have

People on the right don't realize the scam. Most conservatives in the media are conservative as a career not a lifestyle. If you chronicled the lives of these chicks they would violate most conservative tenates. They're phonies.

BTW - Male media conservative blowhards are not excluded from this.

It's not hate, it's pity. These people are capable, but they don't do anything useful because of the way they've been programmed. Some are just more susceptible than others, and it has nothing to do with intellect, because I've met mentally retarded people with far more enlightened outlooks on life and society.

I'm sorry you're butt-hurt over it, but I did not lie, nor was this an attempt to build some kind of meaning behind my non-existent "hatred". I reserve "hate" for the ideas and consequences, not those who fall victim to them.

Well - at least you recognize that you have the same "enlightened outlook on life and society" as do retarded people. Though I suspect that neutral onlookers might have trouble differentiating between the two groups . . .

Not that you'd understand, dude. You could find someone to explain it to you, but you'd miss the first part of Spongebob and you'd just be confused anyway.

A simple "no" would suffice. It would've saved you the 20+ minutes that it took you to type out a response.

Naomi Wolf
JS: Why do you think the sides don’t understand each other?

NW: Frankly, liberals are out of the habit of communicating with anyone outside their own in cohort. We have a cultural problem with self-righteousness and elitism. Liberals roll their eyes about going on "Oprah" to reach a mass audience by using language that anyone can understand even if you majored in semiotics at Yale. We look down on people we don’t agree with. It doesn’t serve us well.

but if people stopped giving her attention, she might go away.

look at her poll numbers, she's obviously not a credible GOP candidate for 2012.

If the media stops paying attention to her, some conservatives will whine that she is being ignored by the MSM.
