how difficult are these SATs......i'm thinking abt coming to america for my graduation........any suggestions

SATs are fairly easy provided you know what kinds of questions to expect. Practice is the key.

If English isn't your native language you will find it to be much harder than it is intended to be. Half of the test is based on your verbal abilities (reading comprehension and speed, vocab, analogies, etc.) so you'd have a hard time with it, even if you are somewhat fluent in English.

Obtain some manuals with lots of practice problems, it worked for me.

buy the book by barons. Its all you will need, and english reading skills. The best thing about the SATs is you dont need to know how to spell

remember the test is more about knowing HOW to take the test, not about the actual material.

for example they go from easier question to harder questions, etc

if you can snag the Princeton Review CD that's an awesome tool, the cd is just like a coursework on cd materials disk that should totally prepare you.

bah, i took few SAT I's last year, and despite having been speakin english for mere 3 years i managed pull off 1450 composite on one of them. it aint all that hard, dont sweat it... jus make sho you get a good and sound sleep the nite before the test

Don't worry about the English test. I am sure you can request it in your native language.

Just buy one of those self prep books in the bookstore, and about 2-3 weeks before the test, sit yourself down and go through a little bit of the book every night. Then when the test day comes, I can't stress this enough but it's all about attitude.

When you go in there and take the test, never doubt your answers but instead feel confidence that all your answers are based on your best judgement and you feel are correct. You'll find yourself going through the questions at a much faster rate and never once think about how your test score is going to be during the test. That just screws you up.

Just focus on the test, go through each question, think about it and make the best judgement...then MOVE ON. Don't ponder. If you find youself playing with your pencil during a question, you've spend too much time. Good Luck.

Please dont pull a freakin english teacher on me... i did have the highest score on GDT in my class; formal writing is one thing and posing crap on the bbs is another. 'tis all good!

brotherman seems a little proud of his score. I always drank a soda before each test, they are at 8am , i just couldn't handle it without the caffeine.
