If you want to stop laughing, consider what happened the UN laid down a full court embargo smack down to South Africa, if Israel sneak attacks Iran, they could get smacked down in a heartbeat with the same total embargo. Nor should Israel count on Uncle Sam to save their butts, Israel already on UN probation for war crimes in Gaza.

it's been 40 years since the 67' war and no international lawyer has managed to develop a convincing case that israel's policies towards palestinians is inspired by racism, and that its government is predicated on subjugating arabs.
the whole "israel is apartheid" isn't taken seriously even in the UN, i think most muslim states would be afraid to say it because their government truly resembles apartheid-policies (muslim arabs first, arab/christians/dinkas/kurds 2nd, women 3rd, jews nowhere).
as far as UN probation goes, it's over. UN asked for reports from both hamas and the IDF. idf sent in 1,000 page report that totally demolished the goldstone fiasco, and the UN has yet to respond - mostly because it can't.
