Saw a squirrel today

Was backing my car into the driveway and noticed it, so I stopped, pulled my phone out to take a pic, and it was gone. Finished parking and this is all I managed to get, the little footprints.



I threw some peanuts in the snow, maybe he'll be back! Would be fun to get this little guy tamed to come eat from my hand.

I almost ran over 2 squirrels today, they are all over the fucking place.

Never had issues with them, even when I used to camp more and we had them all over. Was fun taming them to eat from our hand and stuff. I think the key is to feed them well, so they don't seek food in your house. :biggrin:

Now that I work and don't really go camping as much I'm lucky if I see one once a year. Last time I saw one was like 2 years ago, and by the time I got some food it was gone.

I see loads of squirrels every day.

damn things chased after me for food in Victoria Park in our downtown. Talk about aggressive rodents.

Ha that's weird, they're super timid here. I'm lucky to see maybe one once a year. This is the first time in like 2 years that I see one, first time in winter.

Did manage to tame one at the cottage to eat from my hand though, but any slight movement and he'd back off.

The chipmunks on the other hand are pretty crazy. Though in town I don't really see em very often either.

I could count 100 of them walking my way to class... some albino ones around too.
