Turn in your car enthusiast/man card.I would never be able to spot one among the sea of Mustangs.
Nice, another fellow S550'er! I don't see them often in my area either. I see maybe 1-2 every week, but it's technically "winter" in upstate NY. Some people might have garaged theirs for the season.I have a 2015 Mustang GT myself. (Love it too), Over the past year I have started noticing a few, mostly convertibles, but I don't often see the new style yet. I do see a fair amount of older Mustangs though.

I was as giddy as a school girl. The car looks so much better than the non GT350 versions.
I'm not sure I would be able to tell the difference either. It's a Mustang with stripes... can't swing a dead cat without hitting one of those.
awesome, when I was living at my old place in Florida. My neighbor had a newer ford mustang gt500 supersnake. Car was awesome and sounded so nice.
You'd be able to tell. You'd notice that something is "different" about the Mustang.
There is a dealer near me with two of them for sale. Both have ridiculous markups bringing the price up well over $100k.
That's ridiculous. Paying over double.
Ford Canada does not allow markups over MSRP on new vehicles.

Cost a lot to have the newest toy on the block.
More than twice the MSRP?
I don't get it personally, but the odds of finding a buyer in California are pretty high.
Not to mention Vipers and Z06s$111k gets you into some very elite and expensive German machinery though. We're talking AMG and M badging here... not to mention Porsche.
A Ford Mustang Shelby 68 350 GT (RARE and Pretty) is Great Car but so is a 70 BOSS Cleveland 302.
Both have sorry front suspension MacPherson struts, concerning hay wire Clutch Linkage upon a weak fire wall (Vibrate and blows Clutches). The Chrysler Challenger and Cuda Torsion Bar Front Suspension (AKA Jaguar) was a better suspension in spite Chrysler Tinfoil.
And then you have to consider GM's Old School approach with suspension with the Camaro and they had the best engine.
AMC Javelin had them all beat back in them days.
The fastest I've gone was in a 72 Challenger Rally supped up 340 Magnum W2 170 mph+ and the fastest I've accelerated was in a 70Z Camaro with a 7000 rpm SR BBC.
Love them old Muscle Pony Cars but they handle like Tractors.
I would sooner drive a 74 1(2)42 GL Volvo 2 Dr Coupe Manual. To bad I lost her as she would eat a 2002 BMW.
I do agree the markup on these cars is a bit ridiculous. However, I think what people aren't seeing here is the GT350R will match/beat a (997) 911 GT3 RS. That to me is pretty impressive considering the GT3 RS starts at $175k, and the GT350R "starts" at less than $63k. This is your classic American muscle/sports car vs. the European competition. Another example is the Z06 Corvette, which is extremely capable on the track, and is a bargain for the performance.$111k gets you into some very elite and expensive German machinery though.
