I would get a Mustang Boss 302 instead. I know they are completely unrelated, but I also don't know wtf I would do with a 2 door, slow-ass Range Rover.

It's sort of the ultimate chick vehicle, right? Sort of like the Lexus whatever that is, RX? I think this was styled by a spice girl iirc.

was looking into trading for this thing but it's way too small, especially for the price

still haven't seen any on the road... and I'm guessing that's why.

Yeah, basically. It's a competitor of the smallest SUV's (actually crossovers) on the market: BMW X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLK, etc.

Looks the best out of them all as well IMO.. but I'd never own one.

I saw a two-door black Evoque with tinted-out windows a few weeks ago. It looked pretty sleek.

6.7 seconds with the EcoBoost 4 banger is hardly "slow-ass" for such a vehicle...

I'm seeing a lot more of these on the roads here, sat in one last week at the auto show, pretty nice car. I'd drive one. I don't believe in that chick car shit, the Lexus RX is a nice ride as well, I tested the current gen and it's solid, also tested the previous gen and was impressed.

Thinking about getting one, or the the 2013 X3 with the new 2.0L turbocharged 4 banger.

The Evoque has surprising off-road capabilities even though it is marketed as a yuppie cruiser. Performance is also pretty good, anything under 7 seconds 0-60 is pretty good for a an SUV. The interior is very small though, whereas the X3 is about the size of the 1st gen X5.

Evoque sells on sexiness, not on utility (even though its off-road capabilities are pretty damn good for a vehicle in this class as tested by various media outlets). $50K for a loaded luxury badge SUV is pretty standard amount of coin these days. X3, FX35, Q5, GLK are all pretty similarly priced when you add up all the options.

Somebody owns a white one where I work - looks ok, but definitely a feminine car.

Thought about this for my mom, but a P02 2012 ML350 was actually cheaper, go figure.

The 4-door looks OK (not the best viewing angle from the back though) but the 2-door looks oddly-proportioned.

I kinda sorta like the looks of it, actually, but the idea of spending $50K+ on a car with a four-banger just feels wrong to me.

Followed and passed one yesterday. The back windshield is so small, I can't see it providing any rear visibility, all for the sake of looks.

Looks horrible in person. Reminds me of a lifted station wagon/hatchback without the utility since it's so small.

I think the back window is small for aerodynamics. The sloping roofline helps drag a lot. I supposed they could make the window dip down

finally saw one on the road. The rear window is hella small, and so is the rest of the rear. Waaay not worth it.

EDIT>> yeah what everyone else said.

Took delivery of a 2012 Land Rover Evoque Dynamic in Firenze Red with red/black interior, Magneride, and 20" wheels a few weeks ago. Nice power, excellent handling (especially with Magneride), and very comfortable. Yes, the rear window is small, but it's enough to see what you need to see behind you, and the side mirrors are big so you can see everything to the side and behind you. Mine has blind spot sensors and a 5 surround cameras so visibility isn't a problem for me. As for space, it's plenty for me considering I was able to fit four 20" SUV wheels/tires with plenty of room to spare. Also loving the fact that I've only seen two other Evoques on the road, a black one and a white one.

I have to agree with you on this. Sadly were gonna have to get used to it. Hell the 328 with a four banger seems weird to me. Ya I know theres precedent but its still weird to me.

I guess if Jag can give up on their straight six bmw isnt far behind.

My wife saw one recently and thought it was amazing.
