Saw Six C-130s on their way to Ft. Bragg

Yep, was just sittin here at work around 2:30pm when the planes flew by, heading west. I'm ASSUMING they're heading to Fort Bragg to pick up some Delta Force commandos!!!

These six are in addition to the other two my dad saw yesterday evening!! They're mobilizing!!!

This is pretty cool..I've never seen military planes flying around on active duty before!

Anyone else in the Charlotte area seen these planes, or seen more???

Those are sweet, they always have one of those bad boys at Buckley field for the "Wings and Wheels" shows here, you can go in and climb in all the compartments like the one for the refueling.

You need to get out of the house more often. C130's, C141's and that new plane the C117? , should be regulars at Pope AFB on Ft. Bragg.

You probably haven't seen anything other than scheduled operations. That should change shortly. Hopefully the sabre rattling will rattle the Taliban. They have already started to moderate their tone. As more and more forces show up in their arena, that trend should continue.

Yes, but knowing something as simple as 6 C-130s landing at Ft. Bragg goes a long way toward piecing together information about operations that may or may not occur in the near future. Every little piece of information counts.

A "enemy" would know now that more troops are on there way. Nobody flies six transporter in one shot unless its serious.

Six C-130's flying into Pope AFB, a part of Ft Bragg is about as unusal a sunrise in the east early in the day. What happens at bases overseas is far more sensative. Ramstein AFB in Germany is the first place the casualties will be evaced. Hopefully there will be few casualties.

Good foreign intel operatives can use information about far flung areas to develop overall pictures of what is happening. If those 6 planes are coming from another base perhaps because the local planes have already left, then that means that there's additional deployment. Understand? Even the smallest piece of information can be valuable if the person reading it understands the big picture.
