Saw some MAJOR Road Rage this weekend.

Becoming a common occurrence..similar incident happened in Antioch..not far from SF. 2 goombahs cutting each other off and shouting along side each other while playing chicken. They finally stop on the side of the road and one guy gets out of his vehic.the other guy runs him over several times infront of passing traffic...gawd help us...

I think it's attitudes like this that cause most of the road rage. I'm not deciding anything for YOU. I'm deciding that I'M already doing 80 and don't want to go any faster. If you want to go faster, go ahead, but it's not my job to get out of YOUR way. Just because you are going fast doesn't mean that we all have to watch for you and yield to your ass. When I know I'm going fast and someone is not getting out of my way I don't get pissed. It's nothing personal, they are just driving at what speed they are comfortable with. I agree with mrchan, the fast lane is meant for people going fast.. dont you see all the signs that say slower traffic keep right? So if your going slow, move the hell over its not difficult. Road rage is caused by people who can't follow this simple common sense. I for one gladly get over if some1 wishes to go faster then I do.

So I guess you're one of those who tailgate others to get them to move out of the way?

If you're coming up fast and I see you, I'll move over, but sometimes I won't because I'd have to brake or get behind some cars doing 65. In those cases, I'll speed up until I get past the slow cars and move over, but if you tailgate me, then fvck off cuzz I'm slowing my ass down just to piss you off. Drive a little closer to let them know you wanna go faster but don't tailgate. Also, if driving at night, move slightly to the left or right once or twice to signal with your lights in their side-view mirrors. Flash me or tail and I'll just piss you off even more.

On a 2-lane road, yes, I'd want them to move over out of the passing lane... but there are 3-4 lane highways here and when/if I'm going faster than the flow of traffic, I weave through the lanes because it is my purpose, not their responsibility to get out of my way. I don't hang on their @$$ and just flash them as if I own the road. If there's room elsewhere, take it. Don't be anal about what the law is. We ALL break the law when we get out there anyway.

This is where some of the problems arise.
80 is your "limit". If the guy in front of you decides that 75 is his limit, and the guy in front of him decides 70 is his limit, and . . . . .
It kind of comes down to who gets to decide the speed limit in the leftmost lane.

Exactly. YOu are being very hypocritical if you think 80mph to 90mph is pushing danger. YOu can easily kill someone going 35 in a 25 my friend.

Basically move the f0k over. BE polite. I hate when I flash my light and the car infront of me ignores me or gives me the finger. I have stuff to do.
