Personally, I'd grab the .45, throw on my coat and run to the river. I know that area well so I'd start picking my way along the river till I got to the bridge. Only problem is that it's muddy and he'd be able to follow me quickly, so I'd probably make it to the bridge nearest my house, jack a car, and drive like mad for...I dunno.

As your attorney, I advise you to rent a very fast car with no top.

ahahahhahaha...buy the ticket, take the ride, motherfvcker

And then you'd be singlehandedly responsible for the death of four-five cops also.

I'd probably head out to my grandma's old house, hide the car in the pole barn, and wait there.

Is anyone living at the grandma's house? He could trace all of your relatives, and even spy on the home's of the closest relatives from a mile away. Unfortunately for me, the nearest family is roughly 1500 miles away, and I don't have any friends that could (or would) let me stay for a while. The downtown area is filled with tourists and random groups of people... maybe it'd be possible to just start living on the street.

Hey I didn't make 'em be cops.

I'd have been gone for about 4 minutes and 50 seconds by the time the shooting started. After that my plan is pretty much the same as yours.

Aren't there police radios that can monitor calls to the cops and such? If they took you in for safe-keeping, he could find and kill you there.

I'd slap the XD45 onto the hip with a holster, lock and load the AR-15, and barricade the house as best as possible. I'd also have the wife leave.

read my earlier post. While the cops are serving and protecting my empty house, I'll be making my run.

It's empty right now. Their house is on the edge of a forest. Rather than parking it in the pole barn, I may drive it up to the edge of the forest and make it look like I ran in there. Then, by the time he figures out where I went, I'd be waiting, hiding in the house and he'd run to the forest, and I'd pick him off before he got there.

Get in the car and drive down to the police station. Unless he's a Terminator, he ain't gonna get you there.

But wont the hitman know how you look?

I would just go on the US Air Force base that is near by.

The house would probably still be in the name of your grandparents, right? If I were a hitman I'd keep all known relations of the target on a map, and unless it was the first forest in the area it would seem odd for the target to happen choose that one. By pick him off do you mean spot him and leave or snipe him?

Well, it's still the grandparents house and it has several rifles in it. I'm a pretty decent shot with Grandpa's 30-06 with the scope on it. Hopefully, I'd see him go out to examine the car, but regardless, I'd be waiting from somewhere around the house. It's far from foolproof, but it's the best I have.

Leave a note on the front door that said "F*&C YOU", grab the 7 mil magnum rifle and camp out in the bushes in the neighbors yard across the street.

I'll probably then head to Home Depot for a new front door.

Well if the supposed hitman was so good, he'd probably know your online activity and be reading this right now. Guess you're screwed.

Line the house with C4, have a blow up doll sitting on the couch, camp in the neighbors' bushes across the street. When he's in the house, BOOM.

I'll remember that next time you want me to come over and watch the kids or the cat or the house.

Probably. I'd start hopping walls (the walls here are ~5 feet tall and cinderblock, they're all very easy to hop) and then... hmm, I dunno. What kind of stuff does this hitman have? Infrared goggles? A wide assortment of weapons or just the traditional pistol and piano wire? It kind of depends.

He has your house rigged with C4. Once he's within range, he'll blow you sky high. He has infrared goggles, silenced mp5, and a tracking device on your car. NOW RUN!

why would he not put c4 on the car? just as you think you're getting away, KABOOM!

what stupid fvcking hitman. he must be an ATOTer.

There is no implication that the Hitman is there to kill me or anyone that I care about from the OP. "nothing short of leaving" umm, then leave...fast?
