i just got a a sb live x-gamer and i was wondering should i upgrade to the new live ware 3.0 or just stay put with the current one with the card? anyone use 3.0 ?

I'd just stay away from liveware period. I just use the basic drivers for the sound card.

Its recomended to use the latest Liveware, which in this case is version 3.

I have a bad hissing problem with my x-gamer... i know its hard where and have tried everyting. I called to RMA but i dont have the stupid cash reciept from the stupid computer show where I bought it....

hey my xgamer is doing ok, i let it do the live update as often as possible, never had any issues, though due to the drivers evolving every once in a while i hafta reset a few settings with certain programs

i'd return the xgamer and get a santa cruz
