it appears that SoB neglected to renew pns.net. most stats are way down.
in the meantime, i'm using the IP addr 69.9.160.186 instead of sb.pns.net,
the old cname to sob.pns.net (or vice versa, can't remember).

Argh, my numbers aren't up to par. I gotta put another machine on this soon. Hopefully I can save up some cash to buy an Intel-based server to crunch SB using my next two paychecks. Intels are best for this kind of computing, right? That'll also reduce the strain on my already overclocked A64 system. Since connecting to the P2P hub at my university (Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH), my production rate has gone down significantly, I think. I'm sharing like 350GB of data on the hub, and people are leeching from me constantly. A server seems to be right up my alley...

glad to help. i dug around a bit and it appears that SoB wasn't the only site
hosted under the pns.net second-level domain. So, the authoritative domain
admin and servers may be managed by somebody else entirely, and not the
SoB team.

in the long run, we should remember to rollback the IP addr "fix" when the
domain issue is resolved (which gives SoB the ability to redirect or load-
balance traffic to backup/alternate sites, etc if they cared to).

also, I believe many people configure their SoB flows to sbp.pns.net:80, so
they want to update their clients to 69.9.160.188:80 (not .186:1717).
