Brand new Gateway P4 with W98se(yes I know,not mine)with a SBlive. Device Manager reports game port working but when I hook up a M/$ gamepad, contol panel/game controllers reports not connected. Tried the gamepad on another computer and it works fine. Called Gateway, installed some patch they had, still not connected. Called Creative, they said it was some what common and recommended reinstalling W98 with the gamepad plugged in. Anyone have a better(easlier)suggestion?
