They say for abusing the creature. I agree this is abuse but I didn't think horses were docile enough to allow someone to abuse them. Case one small kick from a horse that doesn't like what you are doing and your head goes concave. Guess they are more docile than I thought.
The horse's owner changed the horse's name to Sugar Bush.
Sugar Bush is currently in therapy with an animal psychologist but has plans to write a book and will be going on a speaking tour with Mr. Ed to talk about animal abuse and health care reform.
I came in to say that the horse probably didnt' feel a thing. But after the above quote, I guess he was the catcher? I could see a male horse being named sugar.
