You have to realize that posts in a public forum aren't just intended for the the person quoted, like the following story.
I had a moment long ago that taught much about life. I was reading a science mag and a construction worker asked me what I got out of it, if I "remember them like a book full of facts". I didn't know what to say at the time, and thought about the problem long and hard since it bothered me that such a simple question doesn't have a suitable answer. I could introspect on the path that one takes to start with observation to form cohesive models of reality, plus the process of getting better at this not only through human history but one's own ability, but really there's no reasonable way to summarize this to an adult who thinks of science as a collection of facts.
Similarly, people who might read about sociology would look at the demographic data here, and reasonably understand that the portion of black communities which benefit from AA & such are succeeding resulting in lower birth rates, and the portion under increasing lockdown are spiraling downwards. But similarly, there's no way to explain this to someone who literally thinks of everything at the level of favorite desert opinions.
