SC2 beta end of this month

I've honestly lost most of my excitement for this game.

The success of WoW will no doubt ensure the success of SC2, regardless of the games quality.

I'm more excited about the supreme commander 2 launch than starcraft.

It won't take that much to run this game. I'm sure it'll just need a regular dual core to run.

run or run well? depending on how many units they decide to allow, I wouldn't be surprised if this game benefits from a quadcore.

Granted, its certainly no Supreme Commander, but still, RTS games with a lot of units can be very processor intensive

I wouldn't be surprised if SC2's total sales in SK account for more than half, those guys are more than crazy about that franchise, it's part of their culture, it's actually troubling, but at least Blizzard knows that they have that specific market assured for day-one-record sales.

Depends on how good it is.
They already have Starcraft, why buy #2 if it doesn't add significantly to the experience?

It's more going to be a question of how the multiplayer system works, and whether no LAN has an impact, especially when it comes to televised competitive games.

Could be worse. Some companies such as EA sell certain lame games(that people wouldn't buy otherwise) that upon purchase gives you the opportunity to beta test an upcoming hyped up game. EA actually gets people to pay them to beta test for them. ^_^

Isn't that essentially what Blizzard did? "Hey, come to Blizzcon and we'll give you the 'reward' of testing our games for us!"
