Scanner for Slides

Need help on determining which scanner will do a good job on slides. We use alot of slides and have to get them into digital format. Can anyone recommend a good quality scanner??? (we often use the slides for powerpoint presentations or enlarge them and use for displays)

we'll be using the scanner with NT and W98 systems. Currenly we are considering the Epson 1200 but not certain about the quality of the slide adapter.
