- Candyman
Realy realy bad and not even a tiny bit scary movie, has this bad B movie smell. Might be scary to 10 year olds but when you are 20+ it just takes a bit more.

- The Excorcist
Scary to some, but not to me. When I saw it I laughed through out the movie, and laughed even more at the girls who screamed Good movie though.

- Requiem For A Dream

- Ring
I froze in shock during the movie, two of my friends also froze and two other friends screamed. One of those who screamed had his cell phone with him and it rang after we watched the movie, he screamed, for a week he had a blanked over his TV.

Scary also but I ruined it when I watched the most scary scene months before I watched the whole movie.

Requiem For A Dream

Well I don't consider this as horror (scary) movie.. but in it's genre what ever it is, it's a damn great movie that leaves you thinking. It's bizarre but damn entertaining.

Ring

Scariest movie ever. Basically, exact opposite of those damn Hollywood horrormovies (which are more like action). Builds up the atmosphere slowly, but has genuinely creepy feeling throughout the movie. No blood, no corpses.. interesting story and decent acting. So far, the best horror movie ever made. Scare rate 5/5

The Shining

Great movie, one of all-time favorites, not so scary anymore.. but always entertaining.

Alien

One of my all-time favorites. Everything in this movie is perfect. I've always found this to be somewhat scary, it has great creepy atmosphere, especially at the end. Scare rate 2/5

Stephen King's "It"

When I first saw this I was way too young to watch horror.. it scared me sh1tless and propably permanently damaged me emotionally It's still damn good and scary movie, one of all-time favorites. Scare rate 3/5

Army of darkness

Hehe, pure horror comedy, kicks ass so much! Perfect movie to watch with bunch of drunked (or high) friends

The Evil Dead

A cult classic. Scary, but also funny at times. Bruce Campbell kicks butt Scare rate 3/5

John Carpenter's The Thing

Great movie. Good story, even better setting.. and the "monsters" are just so damn weird and grotesque. Scare rate 2/5

Event Horizon

One of the best sci-fi movies ever. Great story, great cast and great special effects.. plus a bit scary & creepy atmosphere. What more can you ask?

Blair Witch Project

Complete 110% crap. I came so close of walking out from the theater and asking my money back because the movie sucked *too damn much*. Bunch of dumb kids in the woods with camera, running around screaming. Wow, that was scary. Scare rate -1/5

Session 9

Second best horror movie I've seen, right after Ring. Just like in Ring, builds up the creepy atmosphere slowly. In the end, it's actually pretty damn weird and freaky and leaves you thinking what actually happened. Has a good story, decent cast and great setting. If you fear the dark, this is *the* movie to watch Scare rate 5/5

Scream

Hehe.. why the hell do they call this horror movie Scare rate 0/5

Howard the Duck and Ghostbusters are by far the scariest movies I've ever seen.
Watched them when I was 7 or 8...haven't seen them again.

LOL!! I remember when I was just a little boy watching this and the last scene scared the crap out of me I couldn't watch through it, so I never even got to see the 'happy ending.' I guess, I'm assuming there was a happy ending as I never went back and watched it.

The Shining - 2 and a half hours of fairly boring material mixed in with some very scary parts.

Army of Darkness - Not scary at all. More comedy than anything else (I love it, but it really should get low marks for it's "horror" quotient.

Requiem for a Dream - Makes you feel dirty after watching it. Once again, doesn't really fit in with the scariest moves category.

Candyman - I thought it was fairly creepy. It wasn't the scariest movie ever made and has no cheesy parts, but worth watching.

Event Horizon - I watched this not knowing that it was a horror movie. Scared the crap out of me.

The Exorcist - Similar to the Shining. Somewhat boring, but has several excellent scenes.

Silence of the Lambs - More suspenseful than anything else. Excellent movie but didn't make me want to leave the lights on after watching it.
