Now you're just making random shit up. Don't you think that we'd have heard by now if she bit him?

I don't think you understand what making shit up means... No one is further from LEO apologist than I am. That's the only thing I could see as to why he might do something like he did based on where her face/mouth and his hand were.

I'm sorry, you may be correct that I don't know what making shit up means. It just seems like you made this up. I have yet to see anyone other that you even mention this as a possibility. But yeah, if she did bite him, I sure as heck would view the incident in a completely different light.

I can see another reason why his might do something like this. He is an authority figure who has been told that only bad, evil people fail to obey him immediately enough. Furthermore, he probably believes that it is right and moral to beat someone for failure to do so. He has probably done this many times before, and this is the first time he got caught.

One of my main arguments for the situation before I knew that was I thought a police officer was brought to the school sight unseen, he had no idea what was going on besides what he was told and knew nothing about the school and the kids in it (except for what he knew locally). He was going into that situation basically blind.

As for a school police officer (security guard?), he goes to that school everyday, knows the layout, the teachers and most importantly he should have the vibe of the school and students. He would know whether something serious would happen or not, what the kids would do to each other, etc. He would know whether the kid in question was seriously going to hurt someone else or just being a teenager. Being familiar brings a set of expectations that this cop isn't going to overreact since he knows his situation.

Very similar to a beat cop who walks the same beat, knows people and can de-escalate situations by talking to those he knows and sees every day.

Not to mention this cop (really? not a security guard?) didn't get a report in when he was supposed to and his report didn't match the videotape.

what? NONE of that changes the situation at all.

He had control of her. She didn't bite him, kick him or anything when he slammed her down.

the fact he was a school cop doesn't mean shit.

No one needs to admit to anything. People like you quickly prove their bigotry and hatred through their actions.

LOL....we got a new baby troll here folks.

Might want to look at my posting history. I have posted many times about statistical racism and abuse of people by police. AS well as videos of police abuse on minorities and others.

That isn't bigotry. That is pointing out bigotry that others have. On the other hand, you people that defend police assaults, or defend cops routinely executing unarmed black men and kids have an issue.

Not at all. From what I've seen so far, this police officer is going to be in trouble.

But dear 'ol Garfield has a serious hard-on for cops. It goes beyond anything reasonable - he spends far more time worrying about cops here than anything else. He also consistently tries to apply individual examples to the group as a whole - i.e. making comments like "just a few bad apples".

He's a shit stirrer, and a hater, and he if applied his tactics to jews, or palistinians, or arabs, or blacks he'd be called out regularly as a bigot / racist / biased.

That kind of non-thinking one-sided constant bullshit turns off every person who likes to use their brain - or it pisses them off because they see him for what he is. *shrug*

The worst part of it, if you ask me, is that if he went after jews, or arabs, etc he's only going after folks who are mostly innocent. In this case, with cops he's going after people who willingly put their ass on the line on a regular basis to protect us and uphold the law. Is there a problem? Yep. Is he really trying to get anything positive out of his ongoing crusade to constant smear all cops with his broad brush? Nope.

I point out videos of real incidents and real data. You are free to prove my facts wrong, or the data wrong.

Unfortunately, you have failed to even try that, let alone succeed in proving anything wrong.

IOW, you are just trolling since you don't like the fact that many cops do routinely break the law, and people like you defend them and are the reason why cops literally get away with murdering unarmed people because they know people won't convict them.

But again, feel free to prove me wrong if you have the balls to do anything. But trolling and lying doesn't prove anything except you are a troll, and a pathetic one at that.

So in this case, if I am wrong, and this cop did nothing wrong, feel free to post a link to some actual cops sayings this is SOP. Or post dept guidelines on restraining kids and show where they suggest body slamming them to the floor.

You got anything at all to remotely make the case that this is OK? Anything?

I'll also point out that the other school cop that got caught on video slapping a kid on his face? You know, the same people were defending that school cop as well? He got indicted, so people with way more legal knowledge then you have think he committed a crime.

Care to comment on that as well?

You're an idiot. You bring up a thread where I let the guy park there for a few days because I didn't want to act like a 70 yr old senile cooter with a gun in his hand yelling "get off my land!"

So what he parked partially in my driveway. Big deal. How does that make me a coward?

I swear these forums are like high school except only with keyboard cowards.

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Yet you created a thread to whine about it b/c you're the idiot. Too stupid to know what to do himself.

? I'm confused by your response. You don't seem to be responding to what I said.

Given that he was a school cop and knew the lay of the land means he shouldn't have overreacted the way he did. He knew these kids, probably some of their names. He'd be aware of what happens in the school, how far it escalates if ever. As a school cop he should be much more in tune with the student body which is why him slamming the girl was totally wrong.

See, that's where you're fucking up.

Body slamming a kid that did fuck all, is totally wrong. No matter if the police officer is a local hombré or otherwise.

Which you've seem to take interest in being you referenced it here in a completely different thread.

B/c I'm linking how stupid you are. Thanks for playing!

she was resisting and kicked him in the nads. good shoot, er, i mean slam.

To quote your stupidity again. No nad kicking and the cop was fired. And who's stupid? Yes, you.

Meh, we disagree. If you have a cop come into a school because of fighting they're going to be more alert then a school cop who is there every day.

I'm not saying that body slamming the kid was the appropriate reaction, even if the cop was not a school cop but it makes a lot more sense with a non-local cop who comes in and needs to take control of the situation immediately so that possible other factors (factors the local cop would likely know) don't start to impact his responsibility.

This thread gives me an idea. You know how we're facing budget problems and not being able to pay teachers and stuff because the Fed is trying to fuck baby boomers by lowering the interest rates on their pensions? I have a way to stop the teachers from striking. 1 rule - teachers are allowed to body slam students. We could cut pensions and give pay cuts, but teachers will go along with it as long as we give them the legal authority to slam kids they don't like.

Thoughts, opinions?

He said that Janissa told him that when the officer “grabbed her” from behind, she thought it was a student trying to attack her.
The girl’s mother, Gloria Valdez, was in a parking lot waiting to pick her up when she saw the commotion, Mr. Valdez said. The officer told Janissa’s mother that “he did what he had to do because he said my daughter was trying to kick him in the groin area,” he added. “He told my wife, ‘You know I can press charges on your daughter.’”
Interesting. I like how the cop threatened the family, though it's hearsay.

The cops are just doing their jobs conditioning these young minds to get used to the eventual ass beating they will get from copos when they are older. Remember it takes four five cops with night sticks to beat a man on the ground!

"Alert"

He grabbed a girl, thusly preventing her from doing anything; she, at best, nudged the guy's shin with her dangling left leg.

Body slamming a kid because of that, isn't being alert. It's being a violent asshole that should be heavily punished.

Good thing he's been fired. Now let's have some actual penance; a stint in prison would be welcome.

Are you serious? READ my first sentence, I wasn't saying the cop who did this was being alert. I was saying if a cop had to be called into the school they would have to be more alert and aware of things going on around him which may lead to something like this.

The cop who did this was in the wrong because he is the school's cop. I don't know how many more times and ways I can say this.

but if he was a county sheriff or local PD, it'd be ok?

another big part of the story is that his report didnt line up with the video evidence.

We need to kill it with this idea that cops are some super human witness to anything going on.

agreed.

a good start would be mandatory body cameras and dash cams. TAMPER proof is possible. Also huge punishment for them "forgetting" to turn them on or to many instances of them being damaged.

When they file reports that are not true they need to suspended and if it happens again fired. I'm not talking little mistakes. but blatant lies.

Also cops need to be investigated by a 100% outside source. When they get charged and go in front of a judge it has to be in a area where the cop does not work.
