I dont think I can do anything. Talking to the department head is going to cause trouble with me and this prof. and in the end my grade will still be zero.

What Im thinking of doing is going to her office hours whenever she has them and sucking up. Asking her numerous homework questions all the time.

I will not allow her to think I gave up. Maybe if I show her I am trying really hard she will be generous when she gives me my final grade.

oh well...

The grade was my essay I turned in to her.

The point of the Internet is so the site can verify if you plagarized or not. There is no grade associated with that.

I dont see why she couldnt just allow me to turn it in after class since she herself didnt even look at the site yet. Regardless of what she said I turned it in anyways hoping she wont spot that I turned it in after class (cause according to her the site wont let u turn it in after the class begins but it did for me).

I don't even see what the problem is with submitting the paper to the website after class. I think some points should be deducted, but to get a 0 because you didn't do it before the class? Wow 1 hour is going to make all the difference in the world!

Justified, but not necessary, IMO. I usually side with the teacher / prof on these issues but this sounds a bit harsh.

I think you'd be able to justify partial points. That is retarded if they're going to give you a zero and the paper you turned in matches the one online exactly.
