Yea, now he is screwing you too... Bigly. That DACA fix better include deportations.
Especially if she'll sit in his lap and call him daddy.Or his daughter..
Seriously, have the last two years taught you guys nothing? What Trump says means literally zero. Remember how his tax cuts were going to make the rich pay more, right up until he unveiled tax cuts that would make them pay way less? Remember how his health care bill was going to take care of everyone right up until he unveiled one that would take insurance away from tens of millions?
I am genuinely baffled as to why every time Trump says something seemingly normal people jump to the conclusion that maybe THIS TIME he's not lying despite the fact that in almost every prior occasion he's been lying. What will it take for people to realize he's been lying to basically everyone he knows for his entire life and thinks nothing of it? Trust he was telling the truth when the legislation is introduced and passed and not a second before.
The White House proposal is being crafted by Stephen Miller, the administration’s top immigration adviser, and includes cutting legal immigration by half over the next decade, an idea that’s already been panned by lawmakers in both parties.
The principles would likely be a political non-starter for Democrats and infuriate Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who have negotiated with President Donald Trump on immigration and left a White House meeting last month indicating a solution was near. They could also divide Republicans, many of whom oppose cutting legal immigration.
Meh. I don't see the point of "fixing" border security when we have almost zero ability to actually keep out those who shouldn't be here. My view is secure the border first, then sort out the people, providing a path to citizenship for those we want here and permanently kicking out those we don't. Otherwise it's D.C. Kabuki. Beyond that, any hint of cooperation is good news.
