I personally have my doubts the response is 14ms because that is a very untypical (read: not 16, 20, 24, 25, etc) time for a combined lcd response time. Perhaps the review was quoting just the rise or fall time.

If it turns out it really is 14ms, combined with the dvi and analog inputs, it is a hot deal (despite the 12/12 warranty)!

I wonder if it really is like the guy says it is (14ms). I can't find anything about the manufacturer through google. If someone bought it, does it say anything in the manual? If it is 14ms (or at least a reasonable response time), then i'm going to get get one, but I want to make sure first.

There is not a DVI input on these. Just checked the display model and it has a spot labeled DVI, but the port is just covered up.

14 ms Response time is on the shelf tag though, so that seems accurate(or at least that is what they are claiming).

Thanks for the info, Hugenstein... major disappointment if this doesn't have DVI. Was about to jump but this makes the deal cold IMO.

More thanlikely this is a 25ms panel and not 14ms. The lowest one made today is the Hyundai 16ms panel used by many manufactures. I would say they forgot to add in the 11ms fall time to the 14ms rise. This deal is warm to cool at best. Considering lack of DVI and the 12 mo warranty, what will the CC extended warranty cost?

According to the CC rep, the 14ms spec is indeed wrong (as is the claim on their website that it has DVI). He quoted me a 30ms response time. Extended warranty was I think roughly $100 for 4 years...

My Albatron LCD has more inputs but there was a plate covering them. You simply unscrew the plate to reveal them - perhaps the same works here.

my friend just picked up this LCD today. So far seems like a pretty good monitor. He hasn't tested games on it yet (but he doesn't play much anyway) but the monitor is really bright and vibrant. very suprised actually. the specs say it has 370 nits brightness which is pretty high for something in this price range. It was way crisper than the sony displays next to it. Definatley a pretty good deal at $280. And it actually has a decent bezel size too. but like everyone else said, no DVI.

Keep in mind that this monitor only comes with a one-year warranty! You can get a Dell for $349ish shipped/no tax with a 3-year Dell warranty!

Yeah but because this monitor is mfg'd by Circuit City, you can walk it into any store and have it repaired... aka no shipping

Dell's warranty's is awesome. They next day a new one to you and you package yours up in their packages and send it back at their expense.
