This is cool that you can see them in stock. I would wait until the reviews come out before anybody buy them especially considering how much they areI myself couldn't get myself to spend over $300 on a video card but i know a lot of people do spend more than that.

More than dead ... I ordered one at the $542 price about 1-1/2 hours ago after checking that the mfg part number they listed was really for the XTX. The order was accepted, now it lists as "ON HOLD" when I go to their order status page. When I get home there will probably be an email or phone call claiming it was a price mistake or some other weasle words as to why they won't ship it to me.

When I 1st looked their price was around $571 or so, by the time I ordered it had dropped to $542. I don't believe this was a mistake, they probably just saw what others were selling for & decieded to get greedy and not honor their original price.

Hope I get it but I doubt it ...

Maybe there is hope ... Just checked & the status has changed from "On Hold" to "In Process". With a little luck I'll pick up an XTX for $542.

Don't count on it really being in stock - Page Computers suck. We ordered a much needed part from them that they assured us was in stock and would ship that day via overnight to arrive next day. Several hours later I called for status only to find out their inventory was wrong and they were out of stock.

Yea, but for $542 I'll take a shot. Pricegrabber still lists Page @ $571 even though their website is at $627 now. They changed my status to 'invoiced'. We'll see what happens as the day goes on. If they honor their price I'll sell my 7800GTX (256MB) & an X800XL that I've got laying around. With luck it'll be a nice upgrade for around $100 to $150.

How about the 7800gtx? Would it be up for sale too, assuming you'll get the new toy this week?

If Page ships then the X800XL goes on Ebay immediatly (well, within 24 hrs), The 7800GTX would be up for sale, but with that I'd wait until after the X1900XTX was delivered & I had a chance to play with it for a day or 2 to check for any problems or compatability issues with my NF4 motherboard.

I paid for 2 day shipping, so if they ship today or tomorrow I should have it for the weekend. Assuming everything works fine then I'd try to sell the 7800 next week. All bets are off if the 1900 has problems, or Page weasles out of the deal. I've got hope though, Newegg is at $599 right now for an XTX. If there's enough quantity of these to go around the prices should drop.

Well, Page actually shipped something yesterday apparently & it shows up in the FedEx system. Since I picked 2 day air it looks like I won't recieve it until Monday. Charged my card the $542 price, the invoice shows my order was the XTX. Based on Page's ratings I just hope they really sent the XTX that I bought & not an X1900XT. We shall see ...

Whad'ya know ... FedEx delivered today & page actually sent an XTX. Brand new, BBA & sealed. With all the negative ratings on Page I expected either them to cancel the order because of a pricing mistake or ship an XT.

Anyone else take advantage of the $542 price & pick one of these up from Page ?

Let me know what your idle & loaded temps run after you play with it for a while. Mine are pretty hot (approaching 90 C loaded, but no artifacts or instabilities.
