Why are the buttons and the screen so small on that phone? It makes it look very ugly IMO.

OK this is AMAZINGLY CHEAP, but current NEXTEL subscribers are screwed ... Don't see how I could do this.... Damn i really want this phone too!

You could active it and then put the plan on national standby for 4.99 and ride out the one year contract so that would be an addtl 59.99 added to you account.... 130 for a phone you could probably flebay for 275.00 .... hope i didn't say too much?

The buttons aren't small...not any smaller than your regular nokia phone....and the screen is just about as big too...you can even change the resolution on the screen for your convenience...in case you didn't know, it's a flip-phone.

I feel the same way here. My wife and I both have the UGLY 1000plus, and we really want this phone, but there is no way I am going to pay $600 for both of us to have one when ours works just fine (not to mention we got them for free when we got the service). Ah well, guess we're outta luck

Hopefully we will all see prices drop on these little beauties soon since Motorola has been showing of the i90c with color....
i95 CL announced!

Logic seems to indicate this model should drop sometime after the Summer 2002 release of the i95cl ....

(fingers crossed).

I don't think so, but the price should drop soon. There is an upgrade rate page on the nextel site for existing customers, but the deals are never really that good.

i have the i90; got it about 2 months or so ago. made the switch over from sprintPOS and gotta say, i'm really happy with the phone and the service. wish i coulda gotten in on this killer deal when i bought mine.

YMMV, but i think it's a good phone; not great, but pretty good.
