Ok, so Governor Scott Walker had these reforms a few years ago that took a bunch of money out of schools to help balance the state budget. As of July 1, the people of Wisconsin will get a state income tax cut with the surplus that these reforms have created. Let's look at some simple math:
The amount of money that the average Wisconsinite will save each year as the result of Walker's reforms : $83
The amount of money that the average Wisconsinite will lose each year as the result of the increase in the federal payroll tax: $1,040
WTF Scott Walker? $83? That's nothing. The liberals were whining that his reforms were Armageddon. Really? Armageddon only got me $83? Walker didn't go too far. He didn't go far enough! We need more tax relief!
