I was told the same thing in Novemenber, was paying 24.99 for 1.5/256, was signing up for another year, was told it was 24.99 now for pro, so I said sure, last week I finally got a bill that had my dsl charges on it, it was 39.99 for the last 3 months. When I called the rep said you have to have the 99.99 phone package to get the pro package for 24.99, needless to say I was pretty pissed, and after an hour of one manager after another the best they did was put me back on the 1.5/256 for 26.99 and took 30 off this huge bill. If I didn't hate the local cable company so much (they like to mail{post marked} thier bills after late fees are already applied) I'd switch to cable, they have 3/512 for 34.99 w/cable service.Originally posted by: Setral

That's correct...I called them and they said $26.99 is all they can offer me because I was loyal customer.:| My contract was done and told them that I'm thinking of dropping them as my provider...still they wouldn't budge. If your account is eligible for an upgrade, you'll be able to avoid the hassle of dealing with the phone reps (I got refused on the phone, yet was able to upgrade from Express to Pro online without any problems.)
