They must have DP->DVI converter, it is enforced in the driver that you can have at most 2 non-DP outputs, there's no way Sapphire can go around it. So it is the same issue. You're left with trying to see if a couple different driver versions can help or hope enough people will complain and it gets fixed later. And can you use extended desktop?

Yeah, for nVidia I believe you need 2 cards, possibly GTX 590 might be enough on its own, but that's not exactly a money-saver.

If its a hardware limitation then no amount of complaining will fix it. Hopefully the 7000 series of cards have this issue resolved.

Its not doing it 100% of the time. It seems kind of random. So i'm really thinking this should be a solvable issue...

I cant be the only one thats ever had this problem, and ive seen other threads about Flex edition cards.

i used to have it when playing flash videos, but i learned to live with it. i reinstalled when i got my sb-e setup and now that i see this thread.... i just noticed i haven't seen it once since i reinstalled.

Eyefinity mode means the monitors are 'grouped' into 1 large desktop. In CCC -> Desktop Management it would show up as 1 very wide desktop. You can go in there and right clicked the desktop layout and selected 'Create Group' to set up Eyefinity. Eyefinity is really meant for gaming, no real point in using it for desktop stuff.

Extended Desktop mode means each monitor is a separate desktop (but you can drag windows across and such). It's a little easier to work with than Eyefinity, because the taskbar will be restricted to one monitor, and when you maximize/full screen a program it will only maximize to that monitor instead of across all 3 as in Eyefinity mode.

To use Extended Desktop mode, go into Desktop Management and right click on each display listed at bottom and select 'Extend'. If you're in Eyefinity mode already you'll probably need to right click the desktop layout and 'Disable Group' first.

I thought that not everybody has this problem? And I mean with DVI, I know that all 3 DP should probably work ok. So that could be another option that is cheaper than 2x nVidia.
Perhaps it would help to have all the monitors identical or have the same timings.

i am using all three DVI though. from what i've read that shouldnt matter. I just need a straight answer whether the flex cards fix the mixed signal issues so that I can know whether i have that, or something else is going on.

It has been answered quite a few times already: yes, you're using 3 DVI monitors, but you don't need a FLEX card for that. The only thing it gives you is that you don't need to buy an active adapter separately, because it's already built-in. From GPU/driver perspective, you get 0 benefits, it's only a convenience for those using monitors without DP.

He even says that he is using ALL DVI. So it seems like you are just saying that this is unfixable without any real knowledge of it.

He ran Crysis, you also said you don't have problems in games. Anyway, I'm not saying whether it's fixable or not, in my last post I'm telling you that your FLEX card doesn't provide any advantage for this issue compared to someone with 2xDVI and a DP->DVI adapter, which is what you asked.

I am also using 3xDVI monitors. I do have problems in games. I'm getting the screen tearing in Skyrim.

And this should be fixable since obviously he isn't getting the screen tearing with my exact setup.

Obviously it isn't the same exact setup. He might have different monitors using different timings, or different drivers, something is different. Some people don't have FLEX cards and also don't have the issue with DVI monitors...

my monitors max is 75hz...eyefinity is locked at 60hz and im using SL-DVI. And if its a driver issue, then the fix should be as simple as finding the right driver.

Go to EDID Detailed Timing Descriptor. In general, no two monitors have everything the same.
