just a rebuttal, I've been using a 40X Lite-On, for a while now. recently got a BenQ 48X drive. It does its job just fine.Originally posted by: EnsignFodder
Stay away from the model 4816p - rebadged Benq piece of <deleted>. Do not know about the "CRCXX...". Cendyne boxes have a brown box inside the colored band that covers 3 sides with a security seal on the brown box. I would ask to have it opened before I would buy. If you want a Lite-on there is a $15.00 deal at BB for a 52x. Search forum for details.
PC World is a mag for retired and retarded, they are way behind on everything. Read anand, tomshardware, cdrlabs, cdrfreaks and similar to learn what is hot and what is not.PC World listed BenQ among their top 10 burners. Plexi's still the best.
