I applied for a job at Home Depot and I also checked the box to apply for Expo Design Center too, and I got a call back from Expo. So I went there (its about half of an hour away), and I had a really great interview, so the chick tells me that she'll call me. About three weeks later, I get a call from them again, it's a guy this time and he wants to interview me. So I thought, "Oh, cool, this is dope, I'm on my way to the second interview, I'll probably get the job. Sweet!", well I get there, and I wait for about 20 minutes. Finally the dude comes out and starts asking me these basic questions which were asked in the first interview. So I wasn't too upset or concerned, because I wasn't sure if this guy just wanted to get some general knowledge of me for himself or what, but then about halfway through he realizes that this is my second interview, not my first. And he apologizes to me saying that it was completely unnecessary for me to come out, but he will definitely give me a call later on during the week. That sucked, but I brushed it off because I chalked it up to a communication error. No biggie. Well about a week later, I get a call from the original chick who interviewed me, and she says that she has a management position open and she wants me to fill it. So I told her that would be awesome, and I would be totally down for it. She says that I only have to do a phone interview with someone at 1:30 the next day. So I figured that would be great, I didn't mind because it meant I didn't have to shower. W007! So the next day comes along, and this guy calls. I talk to him for about five minutes, and he gives me directions to Expo for a face to face interview. Ooookkayy. So I go there again, and he gives me a first interview again. I was getting a little bit annoyed driving out there for three first interviews, but I figured it would be a nice job to have, so I didn't sweat it too much. I go there to talk to the guy, we talk for about five minutes (again!), he says he will have someone call me and he sends me on my way. At this point I am almost through with this joint, they are very unorganized and it seems like they just give people interviews to fill time. So, two weeks go by, I get a call from the first chick who interviewed me, and she's apologizing to me, because she sent me to the wrong person, and she says "I'm sorry, don't worry, I really want you to work here, don't listen to anyone but me. If anyone calls you just tell them that I am working with you, and I am in charge of you. Okay? So if the guy you just interviewed calls you, just have him talk to me." So, about a week goes by and the chick calls me and says she is working on an opening for me and she will call me to update me on it. She never called back again, and didn't return my phone calls. So I am boycotting Home Depot and Expo Design Center.
