guess someone has to do it, this show is awful, you couldn't pay me $30 to watch the whole season. my girlfriend loves it, but she sits through the whole thing and doesn't laugh, you call this comedy? I guess she likes the "stories"

cant please everyone. I love this show myself, but to only see season 1 on DVD is kind of disappointing seeing as we are on ep 25 in season 4. Thankfully, I download the shows, thank god for no commercials lol, and I have every single show up to this day lol

I always thought Scrubs was funny but not for the schitck. My wife and I used to watch it together but we were typically laughing at very different things.

Despite our lack of time, many MDs (and certainly medical students) found the show worth watching b/c we've actually experienced "elements" of what's portrayed . . . noob MDs, tension (sexual and professional) between MDs and nurses, marginally sadistic chief residents/attendings, indifferent hospital administrators, and a generally dysfunctional organization of healthcare.

I think a lot of the stories from Scrubs are based off of real stories submitted by MD's. Which is a bit disturbing. I think it was Zach Braff who was on Conan and said 'They [MD's] submitted some stories that even we [Scrubs] can't use...' haha
