Scrubs Season 8 confirmed

On April 28, 2008, Zach Braff posted in his blog on MySpace that an eighth season consisting of 18 episodes was under production but that he could not say where it will be aired.[34] He then stated on May 7, 2008 that the May 8, 2008 episode would be the final NBC-aired episode of Scrubs[35], which was followed by a bulletin on his MySpace confirming that Scrubs' eighth and final season will be moving to ABC, posted on May 12. In a recent video blog, Bill Lawrence stated that Season 8 will be more like the first few seasons tone-wise, with more of a focus on more realistic and dramatic storylines, and the introduction of new characters.[36] On May 13, ABC announced that Scrubs will be a midseason replacement, airing Tuesday nights at 9PM ET.[37][38] Steve McPherson, ABC's President of Entertainment, also stated that additional seasons of Scrubs beyond the eighth could be produced if it performs well.[39]

Scrubs was awesome though, I enjoy the ridiculousness of the show. Grey's Anatomy is full of fail. It sounds like Scrubs is going to be less comedy and more drama, which means it will gain more failure points.

House is only good because it knows how to mix the drama and the comedy well. None of the other medical dramas know how to do that as effectively.

Say what? People haven't had to SEE his face in anything relevant since Virgin Suicides/Any Given Sunday in 1999 and John Q in 2002, and neither of those roles were leading. And I capitalized the word SEE because he's been barely anything more then a voice actor this millennium. And lastly, he's plays the best lawyer role I've ever seen in a movie or TV show, simply the best. He doesn't even have to be the vicious, arrogant Shark-type lawyer to be good either, watch the movie "Indictment" about the McMartin trial for more on that. It's not just about him though, the show was great and had good enough ratings to soldier on but apparently it cost too much to keep in production for CBS.

I'm excited for this eighth season. I :heart: this show. Its good to hear that they'll have a little more dramatic storylines. The seventh season was a joke.
