SCSI or No SCSI

Hey thanks for your help. I can get two of the Atlas II's for 180USD, so one for $90. Having one for the OS would probably be the best way to go. At the moment iv got two 250gb Samsung p120's raided, so there should be plenty of storage for everyone else. I may unraid them if i get the SCSI drive for the OS.

Iv noticed your running a scsi drive. Are there any noticable performance boosts over 7200rpm drives?

yes, i can definately tell the difference between my 80GB wd, 60GB hitach and 120GB wd. i am a little anal about computers but with all the stuff i have on my machine apps wise and having had the same xp install for ~1.5+yrs, it is still very quick. and i am only running a 10krpm hdd, i am waiting on a good deal for a 15krpm then i will get rid of this 10K, which has served me very well. imo, real world feels more responsive than the synthetic benches that are out. and i am using a nice cheap lsiu160 card.
