Get 68-pin Ultra160 or Ultra320, and an LVD cable and terminator.

That drive would work, and from the Newegg photos of what Gigabyte includes with the motherboard, you do get the SCSI cable & terminator too

Here's a tip: the hard drive goes on the plug that sits right next to the terminator, and the motherboard goes at the opposite end of the cable. Also, feel free to use this for wallpaper

Yeah; believe it or not, different people often have different priorities -- and huge amounts of storage space is not always the priority for a hard drive.

I agree. If you're going to lay out that much cash for just a one drive setup, you might as well get the best available, which definitely is not the Seagate. Especially when the better drive is $27 cheaper.

I wholeheartedly agree; and so does Storagereview.com. The Fujitsu MAS-series drives rock. I have two of them. No; 36GB of space isn't a lot of room at all. However, only the OS and games are on them. I currently have more than half the space empty and only a few games left to load. Everything else; MP3s/Vids/Backup/whathaveyou is on two different 120GB WDSE IDE drives. I gots storage and speed, baby.

Congrats on deciding to go SCSI, DoNotDisturb; a very wise decision you won't regret. The only regret I have is not doing it sooner. Access time is everything.
